“I cannot say enough good things about Mommy’s Way! I have twins who at four months were refusing to take bottles….We had tried everything to no avail. Within minutes...Mommy’s Way had both of them drinking bottles! We also were having a terrible time with sleeping, at four months the girls were still up every 1-2 hours….on the first night , our doula was able to help the girls sleep 5 hours! They have remained on a much better schedule at night. Mommy’s Way doula’s are professional, nurturing, and extremely knowledgeable. They have given me valuable tips and support with nursing... I am happy to say that my twins are still exclusively breastfeeding at five months. Every time our Mommy’s Way doula enters my house there is a sense of calmness where there is often chaos. After meeting and working with Mommy’s Way, we couldn’t have been more wrong. Our doula quickly became like a member of our family. Our doula was calm and comforting and completely at ease in my home with all three of my children. “Our son spent the first 10 months of his life in Duke’s Intensive Care Nursery. Until his diagnosis of a genetic disorder called Pura Syndrome; his hypotonia, excessive sleepiness, and breathing and apenic issues were a mystery. When we finally brought our son home, we wanted to have some extra care at home for a few weeks so that we could adjust to finally being away from around-the-clock hospital care. It was important to us that his home caregiver had good experience and the confidence to care for our fragile child - Mommy’s Way possessed these qualities and we were so happy to have them with us. When our son came home, he was being fed by a gastric tube, and also required 24-hour supplemental oxygen. Mommy’s Way cared for him beginning each evening and would stay with him through the night. Along with typical newborn duties, they would also handle his tube feedings every few hours, and would monitor his pulse ox monitor and oxygen levels. We were able to sleep with ease, knowing he was well cared for.”
